Antique music machines
Nickelodeons, orchestrions, player pianos, band organs, phonographs, and jukeboxes. Come in and listen, or press play below.
Our specialty since 1968
Before the radio and the jukebox, a nickel in the slot of a coin-operated piano filled a room with music. These machines — nickelodeons, orchestrions, and their cousins — are mechanical marvels of drums, pipes, bells, and pneumatics, and very few places still let you hear one play.
The Liberty Antique Mall has decades of experience buying, selling, and restoring antique music machines. Founder Harold Freiheit was known across central Ohio as "the duke of the antique music machines," and his son Chris carries on that expertise today.
Machines come and go, so the collection on the floor is always changing. Over the years it has included:
- Coin-operated nickelodeons with pipes, drums, and bells
- J.P. Seeburg and other player pianos
- Gavioli and Wurlitzer band organs
- Rare wood-horn Victrolas and other phonographs
- Dutch book-music accordions and street organs
- Jukeboxes from the golden age of the diner
